Isglem

Sunday evening ( 20 December) I heard Isglem at the Landmark club (Bergen). It was a bit disappointing that only a few people attended, but Terje Isungset (drums, rocks, sticks and trumpet playing toy elk) and Karl Seglem (tenor saxophone, ram´s horn and other horns (not from near extinct animals I hope)) gave all 9 (!) of us a witty and nice concert. It was jazz, folk and impro in a perfect mix, and we even got som slapstick while Isungset played a drum solo on close to no volume at all. He even complained that Seglem was breathing.
The two guys have played together for more than 20 years, and you may buy their albums over at NORCD.
Some crook also uploaded a video on YouTube .
